The High Commission is responsible for the promotion of the political, economic, cultural and other interests of the Republic of Cyprus. Apart from Australia, this diplomatic mission is also accredited to New Zealand, Indonesia, Republic of  Korea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and East Timor. The High Commission is responsible in promoting the relations of Cyprus with other countries and international organizations and the conduct of Cyprus’ foreign policy in general.
